Yes. Klonkt is lightweight: it runs on a small, cheap VPS with no separate database server (it uses SQLite). A single site easily handles real traffic, and a configured CDN (such as Cloudflare) absorbs big spikes — like a release going viral. And because everyone self-hosts their own site, there's no central bottleneck: the network scales by itself.
